amplifier wire route?
i am installing an amplifier into my 1999 lumina and i am haveing trouble running the battery wire through the fire wall. i cant fina anywhere to snake it through. i want to refrain from drilling a hole, is there anywhere where i could run this wire with existing holes? thanks

Seriously, buy a grommet from your local hardware store and drill a hole. Anywhere you can snake it through will probably damage the grommet, and water can get through, OR, you could damage the grommet enough to fray your cables. It'll take you 10 minutes.

In the past I've drilled a small hole through the grommet around the accelerator cable, pulled the wire through and sealed it up with silicone. Sometimes you don't even need to drill, can just shove a tiny screwdriver between the cable jacket and the grommet and sneak a wire through, depending on wire gauge...
Be careful if you drill...a guy on the Honda forum drilled through his wiring harness on the opposite side, shorted out his guages, A/C and shift lock...

I Have a 98 Lumina a just Drilled a Hole into the firewall the fit a grommet to the correct size and it works fine but make sure to seal the hole correctly or it will be gay in the long run.
