Please Need Help to determine Engine Type

Hello I have a unusual situation
I have a TOYOTA 2500 cc Engine

The engine is a 6- cyl, 24 valve, DOHC fuel injected engine. It does not have VVT-i Technology.

The engine was bought along with a 5-speed transmission and I was told the engine was possibly 4-5 years Old. the engine was manufactured in Japan and was delieverd to Thailand by Ship Where I bought it from another person there is no documentation that came along with the engine. I Live in Thailand too and just can not get any help. I was recommended to this site by a On-line auto Parts dealer in the US. they said someone in the Forum might be able to help me get the information so I can get the proper parts.

On the Front right side (viewed from the front of the truck looking at the fan)

on the lower block there is a 1JZ Stamped into the block.
(close to the oil pan)

I dont know much about engines and this is all the information I have. I need to determine the year and possible which model (s) Toyota this type engine
was orginally used in. So that I can get some spare parts Here in thailand they seem to not be able to track the engine enough to get the information Not even going to a Toyota Dealer.

I need a Distrubitor cap and set of Spark plug wires.

Is thier possibly some place on the engine I can Possibly look at that might have other Identfying Markings?

The Engine was bought alone with no vechicle thus why the my confusion.
To make it more complicated the Transmission is much older that came with it at least 10-12 years maybe older.

It is in a Ford ranger Pick up truck at Present.

Any Help or assistnace would be greatly apperaciated.
