4x4 question need help

well i notice something today, i dont know if its normal or something i should get looked at
well if my 4x4 is engaged(99 rodeo 3.2l v6)and i turn(wheel cranked almost all the way)turning sharp (left or right going basically idle speed) i noticed that the front wheels or something in the drive mechanism clicks pretty loud(like when a CV boot is going on a car but with a little jerk or something) is that normal or is something screwed up

need some input or help kindda worried just bought the truck last month(cause having a child ) and its mint condtion + saftied + no rust + good price too

Were you doing it on dry pavement? If so, dont. 4wd on these trucks is made for low traction situations. Using it on dry pavement can cause the axles or t-case to bind and possibly break.

thanks dude it was by mistake when the 4x4 was engaged on dry pavement so thats normal then?
and how fast can i go on snow with the 4x4 engaged ,this is the first time i own a 4x4 so i dont really know to much about them

It depends how fast you want to be travelling when you crash!

4x4 provides traction to move but will not help you to stop any better than 2x4

oh i didnt mean it like that am i able to drive normal speed limit(60klm)
