Hard to start when hot

Ok here it what happens. when i drive it for about 20-30 km and i leave the car for about 10-45 minutes and try to start it again it will start however it will make these strange noises like it is about to die on me... if i try to hold the rpms steady for like 5 minutes it will run fine .... it sounds like there is not enough fuel reaching the engine. Could it be a fuel injector? ( could it be damaged) the funny thing is that if i leave it for an hour or more( after shutting off) it will start and drive just fine.... it is a V6 corsica '91 FI .... what could it be.

Re: Hard to start when hot

Sounds like your fuel injectors are leaking and flooding the engine.

Re: Hard to start when hot

would changing the fuel injector itself fix the problem or is there more to that...

Re: Hard to start when hot

Test with a presure guage to see if the injectors are leaking after you shut off the engine. Should hold presure.
