Transmissions..ugh

A while back, about 6months/8k miles ago, I lost my tranny gasket. A local shop had just used sealent to fix a leak. So it started leaking. I ran that poor tranny for a while with little to no fluid in it, adding some when I could afford it (teenager) and just driving it real gently. Well I fianlly got the money to change the filter and gasket, and there was a shit load of stuff in the bottom of the pan. Well, clean it out. Then my TCC locks up when I take it for a test spin on the interstate to check the fluid level (after putting it all back together. It sat, and then it went to the repair shop to have the TCC done. Well 6 months later, one of its problems is back. When you accelerate hard (kickdown) it slips into nuetral and hten into gear. I notice its at the exact bottom line for fluid level, smells clean, and has a B&M Supercooler for the fluid. Is my tranny going or will half a pint make that much of a difference?(138k on engine and tranny) EDIT-It drove fine, literally, 12 hours ago, and theres no fluid on the ground where I park.,

Fill the tranny to the proper level first. Even a small amount of oil can make a difference. That being said, my personal opinion on this is that if you found stuff in the pan, well I guess that doesn't halp the casue at all....

What would get me is the fact that it did 6.5 months of great service and on a dime, decided to die, and so badly too. I let it completly cool down, went to the store, and it seemed to have fixed itself. I didn't try too hard to make it doo it, the fact hat it didnt do it by itself made me happy. Ill fill it up and post back.
