'99 Astro - Relay in Jack Compartment?
I have a '99 Astro. Along with a trailer plug in the jack compartment, is what looks like a relay clipped to the inside wall of the caompartment. Can anyone tell me if this is a relay (or what it is) and what it is for?
Thanks! |

I think that is the roll over switch. check your owners manual.

No rollover switch on Astro/Safari, not sure what it would be. How many and what color wires are connected to it? Can you post a picture?

This is just a guess but could that relay be for your Remote Keyless Entry?

unplug it and see what stops working. might be for the towing wiring harness.

I "THINK" it is a solid state logic box that changes the 2 brake lighis and both independent turn siginals into combined brake and turn lights that are used on most trailers.
