Bed Removal
I'm going to be replacing the drivers rear side cab corner (rusted thru) and am going to have to remove the bed to do it. I have an engine hoist to help with the job, but has anyone done this before and is there anything I should watch out for? I dont want to pull out some fuel line or something...
thanks |

Re: Bed Removal
I haven't done it yet but, I hear it's pretty easy. Remove all wiring and undo the fuel filler neck. So I hear, anyways.

Re: Bed Removal
yep same here.
I think it would be easier and faster if you had someone to help you lift the bed.

Re: Bed Removal
I'll keep track of what I do and post here when I'm done. I'm going to sand the rust off the frame while I have the bed off...
