broken power window switch 97 Regal

my main power window switch "lock" button recently broke off. Therefore, my passengers are unable to put the windows up/down while using the seperate buttons on their door, (unless using the switches from the drivers main door) because the switch is still in the "lock" mode.

Is this a part you can buy outside? If so how is it replaced?

Any suggestions and ideas are appreciated!

Re: broken power window switch 97 Regal

Part is GM dealer/authorized parts or salvage yard. Also, try Ed Morad Parts Company on Ebay.

Best to remove the door panel. Remove trim plate from door latch and then by pull handle remove the plastic cover and underneath remove the two bolts. Then carefully pry door panel outwards starting at the lower part working up to the top until the various trim clips pull out.
