2000 TL questions

I am thinking of buying a 2000 TL (132K) that has a rebuilt title. The damage wasn't that bad and the guy who fixed it up did a great job. The airbags are deployed which doesn't bother me because I am getting a solid deal, $3500. I will replace the driver aibag right away and the passanger airbag when I have the money. Any thoughts or suggestions in regards to the air bag installation process? Does the computer module need to be reset?

Re: 2000 TL questions

To be brief, you will need to replace more than just the airbags. These systems incorporate a lot more components that require replacement after a deployment. (sensors, seatbelt pretensuioners, control units, etc...) If you need the complete answer to what needs replacing, this site will answer your questions. completely. http://www.airbagsolutions.com
