How is towing with 2004 1500?

I am thinking of getting a 2004 1500 quad cab. I will only tow a 18 foot car trailer with a 66 chevelle (#400#) on it once in a while. Mostly be a daily driver. What do you tow with yours? Thanks for any insight.
Also any problems to let me know about?
Thanks, Dan O

Re: How is towing with 2004 1500?

I towed a trailer with a total weight of 3700 pounds with my 2004 Ram, QC, 4.7 Auto, 130miles, from LA to Bakersfield, several times. LA and Bakersfield are both around sea level, with a 4500 mountain peak in-between. No overheating noticed.
