Question Windshield Wipers Off Position

Greetings,

Have 2000 Avalon & Wiper Blades will STOP immediately when turned OFF...even in center of windshield...and will NOT retract.

Is this most likely a Wiper Control Moldule problem and where is it located???

Would this Moldule be available only from Toyota???

Thanks in advance.

Re: Windshield Wipers Off Position

...Having the same problem as Art G. with my 2003 Avalon.... Wipers won't park. Best guess is to replace the wiper motor, but it's expensive if we're wrong. Does anybody know if replacing the motor would fix this problem - or am I likely to find the problem somewhere else after replacing the motor...

Thanks for your help..
