Short!

Trouble shooting an 87 Sentra's Brake lights... The fuse shorts as soon as I put in a new one... I have disconnected the lamps in the back and the switch at the brake pedal.... Still shorting out.... any ideas????

Follow the wire from the fuse box to the break pedal, somewhere along the way it is shorted to ground. Insulation may have rubbed through due to vibration, hard to say where or what caused the short though.

any moister collecting in the trunk? my 1992 sentra had that problem around the taillamps...

I seem to have a short (or series of them) in my whole car, anyone know where I can find a wiring diagram (preferably for free) for a 93 Nissan Sentra B13 / GA16DE

nissanforums.com has the FSM for download on the B13 forum. might be worth a look.
