To keep it short and simple...My car is a 1998 Dodge Neon standard and I can start it with the clutch but then I can let off the clutch while it is running and shift gears without the clutch.
It will not go forward or backwards without someone pushing it. I believe the transmission linkage is not linked but I'm still learning about cars so I'm not completely for sure. IF ANYONE CAN HELP ME, PLEASE DO. |

Re: Transmission Trouble??? HELP!!!
Pop the hood and check the cables underneath the battery. Chances are your bushings wore out and your cables are loose.
