Re: subs

rockford fosgate has really fallen off the audio scene... there low-mid level SUCKS, amps start fires - not good at all, ive seen numerous p2 woofers with either bad leads or the magnets not connected to the basket completely
a good sub to get is the new mid price kenwood one - looks like a soup bowl!
kenwood amps typically do not require power caps - as they only consume 40 amps of draw (kenwood amps under $500)
you should be able to find a 2 12' kenwood subs and a kenwood 8103d for about 400
check best buy

Re: subs

http://www.ikesound.com/ Try that site

And look into something like alpine type R. pretty decent sub and a good price and to power it look for something like a HiFonics amp just make sure you get the right amp and sub comp so you can get the right power at the right ohm.
