99 I30 stalling, HELP?

The Vechile Runs Great While In Park, I Can Hold The Brake In Drive And Press The Gas Pedal Runs Fine. No Instrument Light On. Once The Vechile Gets Moving And I Press The Gas Pedal It Stalls Out, Rpm Goes From 1100 And Continue To Drop Till The Engine Dies. Throttle Body Is Clean, Maybe An Easy Fix Before I Take It To A Shop. Friends Say Fuel System Problem But It Starts Up Fine So Its Getting Gas. What Might Be Causing This?

Re: 99 I30 stalling, HELP?

Smtg happens when engine moves related to chassis. (Is there any cold/warm relation?)
- Ripped intake tube; intermittent air leaks (after MAF). Take out, Inspect...
- Ctrl Wirings, connectors broken.

Quick tst by disconnecting MAF connector. Any change?

no sign of air leaks, all conectors appear to be intact and in good shape.

Re: 99 I30 stalling, HELP?

MassAirFlow sensor, the 'box' after intake filter (one connector). Taking its connector out drops MAF problems out of pic (2200 rpm ceiling).

The intake 'hose' flex part can have hidden cuts, inspect carefully.

Measure actual fuel pressure. Hosing may have kinks, blocks, and/or pump is semi-re-tired...

Do some service on connectors which may move when wiring moves, check how http://www.cardomain.com/ride/748507/14

Some MAF related links on this page http://www.cardomain.com/ride/748507/9
