i have a 1984 mustang with the carburated 5.0 v8 in it.last night i rolled down the windows and went to start the car and got nothng...wouldnt even turn overattery tested.the local auto shop said it was fried so i got a new one and installed it immediatley...still nothing!even with a fresh battery it wont turn over,i dont get power to anything in the dash or interior of the car.what could this be?a fuse problem?and if so,where are the main fuses located in this car...i cannot locate the fuse box...or what else mnight be the cause of this?any insight is greatly appreciated

most of the time your fuses are located under the steering wheel or to the side of it when you open the door, and it could be the ingnition.

Try to take a large guage wire like a jumper cable hook it up to the negitive then the other end of the same wire to a ground. this bypasses the groung wire and eliminates that. do you hear a click noise anywhere?
