Question lost keys to my friends 2002 caravan

HI
I lost the key and remote to my friends 2002 Dodge Caravan. I still have one master key and one valet key. Does anyone know if I can I purchase a key online, have it cut and program it myself with the keys I have? I noticed it said you must have 2 working keys, does the valet key count or do I have to have 2 working chip keys? She said she has papers regarding the key and a code or something, I haven't seen them yet but I will get them from her.

If I do have to go to the dealer, can anyone tell me about how much money I'm looking at? I also need to replace the keyless remote, should I let the dealer do everything or is this something I can do myself.
Thanks in advance for any help.

A 2002 requires the keys be programed by a dealer, VIN data is required for programming. A plain key with 2 buttons is $150.00. The key with 3 buttons are $200.00 A keyless remote will be $500.00
