steering column repair
I have a 1990 v6 3.1 lumina wich has a steering problem the upper shaft wobbles i can get down only to the metal cover after that im stuck and this is where the problem is i believe the steering wheel is positive but the wheel moves up and down left and right the whole vechile is good and i would hate to trash it any hep would be appreciated

I have the haynes manual and he chiltons manual but they do not show too much on this subject

,,,as a starter... which "metal cover" were you talking about?....since you have manuals already, maybe specify which component you want to highlight....I can scan a few more details...
