Dead rear AC

Today my rear AC blower on a 2002 Tahoe Z71 just quit. The front AC works fine. I think I've found all the fuses which checked out OK. Any suggestions before I break down and take it to a dealer (Yuck) or some other shop?

Re: Dead rear AC

auto AC controls?
Did rear blower quit or just quit cooling?
How is the R-134a charge?
Low gas will rob one end of cooling.

Re: Dead rear AC

The blower does not work no matter what position the front overhead switch is in. The front unit works normally. Since all known fuses seem Ok, should I assume that maybe the blower motor is kaput, or maybe the controller resistor/processor is dead, or maybe just the switch has failed or a wire has come loose?

Yes could be.
But it need some testing to find our which one.
Automatic or manual AC controls and with or without sun roof?
Do you have a wiring digram or a service repair book on it?
And a good volt/ohm meter or a good test light?
