Dead rear AC
Today my rear AC blower on a 2002 Tahoe Z71 just quit. The front AC works fine. I think I've found all the fuses which checked out OK. Any suggestions before I break down and take it to a dealer (Yuck) or some other shop?

Re: Dead rear AC
auto AC controls?
Did rear blower quit or just quit cooling? How is the R-134a charge? Low gas will rob one end of cooling. MT

Re: Dead rear AC
The blower does not work no matter what position the front overhead switch is in. The front unit works normally. Since all known fuses seem Ok, should I assume that maybe the blower motor is kaput, or maybe the controller resistor/processor is dead, or maybe just the switch has failed or a wire has come loose?

But it need some testing to find our which one. Automatic or manual AC controls and with or without sun roof? Do you have a wiring digram or a service repair book on it? And a good volt/ohm meter or a good test light? MT
