01 bravada, engine dies on decelleration

Got a 01 bravada , the engine quits on deaccellleration, hard to restart, then runs fine until I come to a point where i need to stop or slow down to a crawl. then it quits. gas pedal is dead, I don't need to hit the brakes and it will die off just coasting to a stop.only does it as i'm driving, won't do it while at a idle or in gear doing a brake torque

Is the SES, (Service Engine Soon) light on? If so, what DTC's, (Diagnostic Trouble Codes) are stored? Have you checked the IAC, (Idle Air Controller)?
