Unhappy Is Nissan using bogus Horsepower claims?

I have been doing some netsurfing lately and have come across a couple of other Forums addressing this issue lately and some are even considering suing Nissan for the bogus claims of 15hp in the 2k2/2k3 Maxima over the 2k2 Altima.

What they stated they needed in order to pursue this lawsuit was for 2k2/2k3 and 2k2 Altima owners who are bonestock to dyno their cars and even videotape the dyno and send in the results to a consumer watchdog organization like the BBB and get a lawyer to represent them in a class-action lawsuit.

Do you believe that your 2k2/2k3 Max actually has 15 more HP than the 2k2 Altima or do you believe that your Max actually has 255 hp?

If you don't, then maybe you should get in on this lawsuit, Ford actually had to fix up the SVT's that they claimed had 15 more HP than the last version of the current year also I believe Hyundai fix the owners of their vehicles that was believe to have 3-4 hp less than claimed.
Do you think this Nissan should give consumers what they paid for or should they use their own testing to prove (as I'm certain they would) that the Max and the Altima have the claimed HP consumers actually paid for?

You know, oddly enough, this same sort of problem came up when the knew Infiniti Q45 came out. It was quoted as having 340 HP, but people were skeptical at first because of the not as quick as expected acceleration times. The real culprit was the engine programming and the gearing, which wasn't very aggressive. It's possible that this is the case here, too, although i don't know how that'd explain the difference between the Max and the Altima, as the Max has 6sp vs 5 for the Alt...anyways, just a thought.
