Would someone please provide me locations where it is safe to place jack stands under the vehicle while doing maintenance on the struts or rotors? I see many people do it but I'm affraid of placing the jack stands in the wrong place causing possible damage to something.
Aside from the four obvious places along the sides of the vehicle, where else can they be placed? (A schematic would really help! ) Thanks.

Re: 95 Accord Jack Stand Points...
If there is a box channel midway to centerline on the floorboards, you can lift under that, the rocker rails like you mentioned, the engine cradle/subframe.
They don't reccomend under control arms anymore...too flimsy. If you're in doubt, lift it with the jack, put the stand under where you want to put it, lower the jack about 1/4" and rock the hell outta the car...if it doesn't settle back onto the jack or nothing tries to bend, you're good...
