98PA AC Hot drive side cold pass side
I recenly replaced my rear struts and all checked OK on the test drive when we went to use the car an hour later it would not start come to find out that a 2 year old Interstate battery was bad so it was replaced. After this was done the car would start and run fine but the I noticed that the drivers side air is blowing HOT and pass side is cold.
I have seen a series on controls, does anyone know where this unit is on a 98PA or have any other ideas? ![]() Thanks |

Re: 98PA AC Hot drive side cold pass side
Before you disconnect the battery, you should first turn the climate control OFF! If you forgot to do that, you can turn the control off/on several times with a 15 sec pause in-between. This may allow it to reset to the “home” position and follow calibration settings. In addition, be sure to check all the vacuum connections, you could have a leak somewhere.

HotZ28
Thanks for the info, after using the bottom supply to provide somewhat of a cooling system I tried the mid level unit and now it seems to be working fine. I guess I did not turn the AC off when I had to chenge the battery it just baffles the mind when you work on the shocks and then the car wont start and then problems with the AC. Thanks |
