92' Camry
Okay guys im new to this forum. and i have a few questions
I want to get a new CD Deck for my camry because im sick of the stock one. 1) What is a good Deck to get. I want it to have a cd player. ipod connection. not skip. YOu know. I have about 100 - 200 to spend. 2) My friend keeps telling me i need all these connector kits because its an older car. Im not sure if i believe him. He says the whole car has to be rewired I've read things that said all i have to do is match the wires. The 2nd question is what i really need answered. i can take the deck out. so i dont really want bestbuy to install it if thye dont have too and what i need to do it.Thanks. |

Re: 92' Camry
Welcome to AF.
1) Panasonic or Pioneer are good ones to get for that price range. Maybe a JVC too. 2) Smack your friend once or twice. 3) Head to www.crutchfield.com and use their "what fits my car" to see what you need for your specific car in terms of wiring harnesses, dash kits, and such. All can be found on ebay. You don't have to buy from Crutchfield, but just so you know they give you everything you need to hook up your gear for free at the expense of paying full retail. Installing a deck is easy. A monkey could do it.
