First Car
Hey guys, im looking to buy my first car and really dont know what I want. I just need something reliable and was wondering what would be good. How are 1997 Mitsubishi Galants and is one with 107,000 for 2000 a bad buy? I just need something used for 2500 but if you guys could list good brands and models and how many miles I could probably put on it before it craps out id appreciate it.

Re: First Car
Here is a list ranking the Japanese automakes. Dinan gives a good general explanation on each. Funny how everyone has Mitsubishi at the bottom of their lists.
http://www.automotiveforums.com/vbul...d.php?t=732621 Whatever Toyota or Honda you can afford is your best bet. You'll probably be able to get a Civic, possibly an Accord for that price.
