wanted to know if you can hook up a amp and speakers to a stock radio

can you hook up a speaker box to a stock radio for a 2000 mit eclips if so how do you do it

if your amp has hi-level inputs all u have to do is hook up the rear speaker wires to the hi-level inputs on the amp. if not, you'll have to get an rf modulator that will change the speaker wires to a/v cables. i do it all the time.

IIRC the amp is under the carpeting. PITA to get to.

I thought he was hooking up an amp. if you're installing subs the factory amp won't likely push them
