Air conditionning compressor connectors
Hi
I've ordered a FOUR SEASONS Part #58777 air conditionning compressor but there is a difference with the original. The original comes with 3 connectors but the FOUR SEASONS one only. Original connectors pics : - Origin_Connector_1.JPG - Origin_Connector_2&3.JPG Four-Season connectors pics : - FOUR_SEASONS_Connector_1.JPG - FOUR_SEASONS_Connector_2&3.JPG As you can see connector 2&3 is missing. Is it a wrong compressor or threre is something special to do ? Thank you for your help. Christophe Salvaing Last edited by Christophe Salvain; 08-09-2007 at 01:32 PM. |

Re: Air conditionning compressor connectors
Have you tried to pull loose that orange cover?
Could the other two connectors be "hidden" under there? Take Care,

I have an answer from Four Seasons : "Our replacement compressors do not come with pressure switches but with fill plugs. This is because GM has used a wide variety of switches over the years. The switches and fill plugs are held in by snap rings and requires that you swap them before installation. Keep in mind that over the years that your switches may stick to their o-rings making it a little difficult to remove. Try soaking with oil first, then wobbling and twisting to loosen and remove." The compressor is now mounted in the car and works perfectly. Christophe Salvaing |
