2000 impala dies

i have a 2000 impala that is as finicky as a mule. drove from chicago to toledo, stoppped at a rest area and returned to the vehicle, started it and drove for 2 miles and it stalled. checked fuel pressure, 43 lbs. I'm thinking its the ignition module, but some good advice would be appreciated.Thanks

Ok it stalled, did you have spark? How did it eventually start? Need more info here.

It started after 10 minutes went by. I was on the side of the highway and didn't have tools. Thanks

When you started it back up, was the check engine light/service engine light on?

no. it drove all the way from ohio to chicago and didn't die anymore.
