Broken Supercharger

My supercharger recently broke and I have ordered a new one. But I need to know if driving my car without the new one is bad for the car. And if so how much driving is to much? Would a 4 hour car ride be to long?

Re: Broken Supercharger

If just the snout/bearing/pulley that's broke , it will be fine. If it's broke where it would cause a vacuum leak into the engne (like the rotors seized and cracked the housing), then I wouldn't drive it. People drive GTP's without the supercharger belt on them for various reasons with no ill effects.
