Factory Spoiler Question.

Hi, this is my first post so please be gentle. I just bought a used factory wing from a guy and it didn't come with directions. Has anyone here ever done this themself? The inner supports have 4 bolts but how do you attach the outer supports? The spoiler I have didn't come with any hardware for the outside supports and only one side has a gasket. What's a good substitiute for the factory gasket? Thanks, any help would be greatly appreaciated!

Miguel

Both of the max's I had/have came with spoilers. You could try taking it to a local shop or to the nissan dealership. They could prob. help you out a bunch.

The outer perches have OEM clips that attach it to the trunk lid. I believe you can get them aftermarket but you might be better off getting them from Nissan if it's a OEM spoiler. The clips are hard to describe, when I took off my OEM spoiler there were two on each side and some double sided tape along with the clips. Like Kehmon said take it to a body shop they'll know exactly what to get/do.

Is there an alternative

I dont have the clips and I seriously doubt I can buy them buy themselves. Can anyone suggest an alternate mthod for mounting the wing? The brackets are just plastic right? It sounds like you atttach them to the wing and use double face tape to stick them on the car. Is this correct?

The body shop can get them! The clips are separate from the double sided tape. You could always shoot some screws in them from the underside as an alternative.

Any body shop can get those clips for you. Just shop around and have them do it for you.
