Ignition wires pop off

97 k1500 with a 350 V8

The plug wires pop off while im driving, and i notice a dramatic loss in power. Happens to the 7cylinder consistently with the 6 and 8 joining in lately. Whats causing this?

Also, I have a feeling im going to be upgradeing my entire ignition system. What type of products should i use for performance. Budget is not really an issue.

Re: Ignition wires pop off

Get new wires. AC Delco will give you the least problems.

Cool Re: Ignition wires pop off

JCarr-

how much performance upgrade do you notice with your exhaust mods (headers and magnaflow cats) from stock?

Thanks, sorry for being off topic
