Need help with a seatbelt problem!

The driver side seatbelt clasp (??) dosent fasten, no problem just a quick trip to the local pull it yourself junkyard right. Nope, yet again the brainiacs at GM have spoiled an easy fix for me. Ok to cut to the quick what size/tool does one need to remove the seatbelt fastner for the front? It looks like a torx of some size but what do I know?

Re: Need help with a seatbelt problem!

I believe they are a T-50 or T-55 from the mental picture I'm conjouring in my head. You can get a "cheapie" set for the occasional useage.

Note- be very certain and get a reciever form the same year car. Friend of mine repalced his driver's seat which had the reciever attached to the seat (another great GM design idear) and the blet wouldn't latch as the lap belt tabs were entirely different.
