1994 Continental MLP Sensor question (HELP)

My 1994 Lincoln Continental is not going into 3-4 gear, Errastic shifts, and Harsh Shifts...............I read on the on-line all-data program and located all the TSB on this car and found that the MLP Sensor can cause this and is also well known to act up..............

If anyone out there knows anything or ever experience a problem with a MLP Sensor please reply.

I use a scan tool and the car pass the test............I know that the scan tool are not alway accurate..................

(Dis-regaurd that last message) Wrong reply..............

But yes I was able to drive but the car was not going over 40 MPH and it sounded like it was not shifting into 3-4 gear, and I was not able to accelarate intill unless the car was at or under 12 MPH
