Would you recommened Flushing Power Steering

I have a 99 3.8 and when I turn the steering wheel in a tight parking spot the power steering pulses, would a power steering flush solve this.

Re: Would you recommened Flushing Power Steering

I think that is normal behaviour. Mine does the same thing. The car has magnasteer which is variable assist provided by a speed sensor and electromagnet, and its more apparent at low speeds where assist is stronger and you can feel the magnet pulsing on and off much like ABS pulses brakes on and off. Check the colour of the fluid and if its brown or black change it. I do mine by sucking the fluid out of the reservoir with a turkey baster then refilling with clean until ive put 2 bottles of clean fluid into it and it looks fairly clear, each time starting the car and turning it lock to lock twice in between emptyings of reservoir
