Engine oil pressure symbol in dash

Hi, Pontiac Montana 2000, 214,000 kms,
Engine oil pressure light is on for last 2 days. Il came on last week for short time and went off. Engine runs ok, oil check ok. Unable to find any loose wires or connections. Manual says oil pressure switch located above oil filter. I was thinking of changine this switch or sensor. Any suggestion would be app.

Re: Engine oil pressure symbol in dash

I had this problem. Changed the sensor. Simple, requires a large socket. I purchased the sensor and matched a socket at a store.
