Re: Ac Problems
I Have A 2001 Tahoe, I Am Having Problems Of Course With The A/c, The A/c Works Fine When We Are Driving, But If We Slow Or Stop And Idle, The A/c Quits. I Was Watching The Rpm's The Rpm's Where At 450-500 When The Compressor Kicks In The Rpm's Would Jump Down, Then Would Jump Back To 450-500, I Was Told The Rpm's Should Be At 750, Can Someone Please Help Me!!!!!!!!!!

Re: Ac Problems
Please Do Not Capitalize The First Letter Of Every Word You Type.
It Is Annoying. Plus, post in the right forum. This is the Caprice forum, not the Tahoe forum.

Re: Ac Problems
Sounds like a resistor, it is located just below and to the side of the motor, it will look like a square flat piece of plastic with 4 screws (usually) and i connector. This is a Caprice forum but the tahoe could most likely be the IAC valve or one of the sensors seeing too much load and cutting off compressor to keep vehicle running, you might try cleaning the throttle body first.
