97 PA Driver's side air conditioning
When I run my a/c, the passenger side vents have nice cool air coming out even though the temperature control is set in the middle. The driver side vents have air that is less cool and takes longer to get cool. Is this common? I'm usually the only one in the car and it's a bit annoying to wait so long for it to cool off. Thanks.

Re: 97 PA Driver's side air conditioning
Sounds like a drivers side temp door or temp door actuator or sometimes even a low a/c charge will sometimes cause this issue on certain makes and models.

Re: 97 PA Driver's side air conditioning
Got the a/c refrigerant charging specs, checked my pressures and they were low. Added some R123a and it works much better now. Thanks

Re: 97 PA Driver's side air conditioning
I also have a similar problem with a 98PA but the drivers side vents are blowing hot air while the passengers side is cool. I recenly changed rear shocks and that evening my battery died sfter replacing the battery this cooling problem started. Any ideas
Thanks |
