1997 Lumina 3.1 thermostat change
I'm planning on changing the thermostat and from what it looks like it's in a tight spot. Once those two bolts come out of the thermostat cover, is there enough clearance to the exhaust crossover pipe to get it out? Also, do I need to remove throttle body or anything else? Any tips would be appreciated.

There is, but you really have to wedge it. I don't remember having to remove the TB to do mine, but I think I may have removed the crossover pipe heat shield.

When I replaced mine, I went ahead and pulled the crossover pipe, it looked like I would have some aggrevation getting the water neck past it.
