96 GT not charging
I changed the engine in my 96 grand am gt 3.1. The altenator is not chaging now. I replaced it with a new one and still no current coming out. Any helpful suggestions will be greatly appreciated.

Welcome to AF.
Check the plug and power wire(red) that they are connected and making good contact. Double check your battery too. If its low or bad it'll do the same thing. Should be 12-13volts with engine off, 13-14volts with it running. Also check the fuseable links by the starter & alternator. Other tthen that it could just be a bad alternator. Hope that helps
