Hard starting, Fan does not work

Help! I have a 2003 Malibu 3.1L. sometimes it fires right off and other times it has to crank 5-10 seconds for it to start. When it does start, the rpm's sometimes sag up and down until it runs consistently at idle. It other wise runs fine when driving. Any ideas out there? Also, the fan only works on settings 4 or 5 on the switch. What is going wrong here? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

Re: Hard starting, Fan does not work

Search the threads and you'll find the answer on the AC settings problem. As for the hard starting, maybe plugs.

Re: Hard starting, Fan does not work

take off and clean the egr and buy new water temp sensors im almost sure that will cure it, it wont start and your blower motor wont work because of the water temp sender and the egr is why it idles rough
