Arrow HPI R/C car... need engine.

Hey all;
I know some people on here have some R/C cars. Well I blew my motor on my HPI RTR3 and was wondering if anyone has an extra motor laying around for one of these? I threw a bearing in it and totally destroyed the motor. Never seen that happen before to one of these. I love these things too. Let me know if anyone has one. Anyone else got something similar? Mods?

Re: HPI R/C car... need engine.

I used to have a Tmaxx. I ended up swapping motors in it cause I blew the stock one and it was a POs anyways. It was pretty fun but I spent most of the time tuning the stupied shit. I would deffinately buy an electric one next time. Sometimes I wish I still had it.

Gas is much better IMO. More stuff to do. Electric is ready to go all the time and less stuff to go wrong, but gas is best.

Re: HPI R/C car... need engine.

Dont' have to tell me about damage. I've had to do some many rebuilds on the suspensions on both mine and my bros (identical cars). And yes I have the Eclipse, all Fast and Furious... literally. I put pics up later. Had headlights too, till I shattered them badly. Mine does 60 also.

I've got 2 hobby shops here that I can get any parts for them. Let me know what model and all and Ill get you prices if you want.

Re: HPI R/C car... need engine.

I got rid of mine cause it loved to crash into mailboxes, too expensive to keep up with.

Re: HPI R/C car... need engine.

I got a new camera and took a nice pic of the blown motor. That rod was straight at one time
