How to get better mpg

i am about to get a 2003 GTS and i want to know what i can do to get mayb sum better mpg (bc as we all know gas prices these days suck) and also adding parts at the same time to make it fast wen it needs too.

Thanx to n e 1 who helps me out with this.

IDK but I think I saw better MPG after I did intake/ehxaust.

For gas mileage, the biggest influence is how you drive the car.

beyond that, A good Air filter, oil, spark plugs, tire pressure, alignment, wheel size in relation to the factory wheels, weight, unsprung weight, use of fuel injector cleaner and use of AC influence gas mileage.

The oil, spark plugs (unless you do them yourself, and wheel size aren't going to be cost effective enough to offset the price of gasoline though.
