boost line location
95gt vortech v-2, where is the best place to mount the boost guage line in the intake? is there a plug that i can adapt fittings or is it drill and tap time? It doesnt look like theres anything on the intake that would work but this is the first stang ive had to install a boost guage on.

Re: boost line location
I ran my boost/vacuum guage off of a vacuum port. Under boost there is no vacuum.

Re: boost line location
The guage is accurate? did you just adapt the line up in size to fit on the vac port?

Re: boost line location
I used a autometer boost/vacuum guage. It came with a 1/8" NPT fitting that went on the end of the hose. My intake had a 3/8" NPT hole in it so I just used a 3/8" plut and drilled/tapped a 1/8" hole in it. Worked just fine.

Re: boost line location
That worked great to run the boost guage line off the vac port by the brake booster. Thanks again.
