Metal block with rubber?
Ok my sister parked her 98 ZX2 at my house yesterday and I notice something hanging down underneath the car. Upon inspection it was a block of metal with rubber fused to it in two spots. It looks to be dampener of some type? Any clues would be helpful. I can post pictures if that will help?

I assume your talking about the one on the crossmember with the two bars towards the front. If it is, it is there to keep things from getting wedged in between the crossmember and the transmission.
