Hello guys , I asked the same quastion at maxima.org but no one did give me the answer ..

I'm using a wet system ..
I'm using NOS=53 , Fuel=40 how many HP am I using ?

Do you I have to get a new fuel pump to get 120 HP NOS ?
And If I wanna use 70 HP dry NOS what is the jet of NOS ?

The problem is, only one .org member is using a wet system, the rest of us are dry. I would say either contact holley www.holley.com and ask them, or find out the equivelent, 3.0L V-6 with your jetting, to find the HP gains. As for a dry system, anything over a 70 shot and you must upgrade your fuel pump or risk running lean.50shot, 62psi;
Jet level to fuel pressure level:
60shot, 67psi;
70shot, 72psi;
75shot, 75psi;
85shot, 80psi
100shot, 85psi
40 .030 .038
HP level, Jet, fuel pressure jet size:
50 .032 .042
60 .034 .042
70 .036 .042
75 .040 .042
80 .042 .042
85 .045 .042
100 .047 .055
As for your other post, 6700 RPM's with NOS? Your crazy, straight up. Continue to do this and you can kiss your engine goodbye. I'm not trying to flame you, but that's nuts, your gonna blow a ring, or worse. SOrry I can't help ya more. Good luck.

Sure thing...
Dry setup...
Hp jet
50=.032
60=.034
70=.036
75=.040
80=.042
85=.045
100=.047
I don't know too much about the wet systems, and I haven't been able to find a listing for a wet system. I would recommend contacting Holley www.holley.com and asking them for the info. Good luck

You helped me alot thanks :)

Thanks a lot ..
You are the first person who helped me ..

Then how many HP do you think that I'm using ..

My NOS jet is 053 , Fuel jet size is 040

Then I was right when I said I'm using 135 HP ..
This matchup I got it from supra 7mgte book let ..
I contact NOS and they told me that this will help you alot

I can pass car with 13.5 second in 1/4 and I don't use NOS at the first gear ..

I passed camaro 98 model LS-1 for 1.6 Mile ..
I got the 260 Km/h in 1 mile but the .6 mile I continue with out NOS ..

Why do you all say that the super charger is faster than NOS ?
I don't think so ..

And I'm having no problem with my NOS I think that if you use wet system you don't have to use fuel pump and you can get the 120 HP easy ..

And I garranty all of you if you use the NOS at the red line nothing will happen I did this many many time and my car was getting to rev limitter many many times nothing happend I really wanna help you all

Do you know that I missed the shifting many times and it was cutting with NOS and nothing happend ..?

Once I shifted from 3 to 2 I wanted to shift to 4 , do you know what happend only the valuve was bend ..

and I did this many time but for sure it was with out NOS

What works on a Supra does not mean it'll work on a Maxima. With the NOS jet and fuel jet you're running, it sounds like your air/fuel ratio is very lean. Most likely you're putting down less than 135 hp because of this. A car running nitrous can be faster than a supercharged car, but only if you know how to use nitrous correctly.

Good luck and I hope you don't blow your engine one day. Destroying your motor might not happen instantly, but you are in fact destroying it slowly. Think of it as you feeding another person small amounts of coolant... one day, that person will die. I'm not flaming you, but you should listen to other knowledgeable nitrous users. Just a suggestion...

Your Welcome

Then how many HP do you think that I'm using ..

.053=135, but it also depends on a lot of other things...

My NOS jet is 053 , Fuel jet size is 040

I know a lot about dry systems and very little about wet systems, but the fuel jet size between each is completely different. On a dry system, the jet is used to adjust fuel pressure, on a wet system, it is used to add a specific amount of fuel, but I don't know the requirments...

Then I was right when I said I'm using 135 HP ..
This matchup I got it from supra 7mgte book let ..

Not really, the Supra is a completly different car, and they should not have told you to use this system, not when they advertise kit #5124 right on there website. It will vary depending on how much fuel your injectors deliver, the best way to tune your system is by checking the spark plugs. From Mardigrasmax: " If you see metallic specs (looks like pepper) on the white insulator part of the plugs your motor is detonating. Or if the ground strap on the spark plug looks like its anodized blue all the way up to the plug threads you are too lean. Adjust you system to compensate."

I can pass car with 13.5 second in 1/4 and I don't use NOS at the first gear ..

That's pretty good, but for a 135 shot, you should be faster...

I passed camaro 98 model LS-1 for 1.6 Mile ..
I got the 260 Km/h in 1 mile but the .6 mile I continue with out NOS ..

I kept even with a Porche Carrera to 130mph, and I laid waste to my buddies Z28, anything can be done with enough power...

Why do you all say that the super charger is faster than NOS ?
I don't think so ..

Who says that? The fastest Maxima's are all NOS powered right now. The S/C can only be turned up so much before detonation, until they come out with a good intercooler, or someone builds their internals to handle the higher boost, MardiGrasMax and TurboMax95 are both good contenders for that though....

And I'm having no problem with my NOS I think that if you use wet system you don't have to use fuel pump and you can get the 120 HP easy ..

You can actually run more NOS safer with a wet system, but the Maxima has long intake runners, which are not reccomended for a wet system, because of the potential for an intake manifold backfire (bad!)

And I garranty all of you if you use the NOS at the red line nothing will happen I did this many many time and my car was getting to rev limitter many many times nothing happend I really wanna help you all

Do you know that I missed the shifting many times and it was cutting with NOS and nothing happend ..?

Please don't tell people nothing will happen, because I can guarantee that it will. You have just gotten lucky so far, maybe your fuel pressure safety switch has saved you, I don't know, but you need to research your system a little more. Not meant to be a flame, just don't want anyone getting the wrong ideas about NOS... Good luck!
