Need some advise
Hello all and thanks for reading:
I have a 1998 Intrigue 3.8, bought with 24,500 miles and now shows 84,000 miles on it. This has been the best car I have ever owned (knock on wood...) but now I have noticed some unusual things happening. I am going to bite the bullet and finally bring it in to the dealer. I know... I know... WHY? lol My question: Is there some place on the internet to see what customers are saying about dealer's service department? I did a search and have come up empty. I need to locate a "reputable" service department in New Jersey. Thanks for any help. |

Re: Need some advise
I cant help with your question specifically, but what sort of problems are you having? Maybe its something we can help you out with and you can fix it yourself, save some time and money, or at least money.
Independent mechanics are often cheaper than dealerships as well, and sometimes can do better work too. But like youre getting at, they arent always easy to find.

Re: Need some advise
Thanks "LittleHoov", it would be rather long to explain. But:
1) Car was found with dead battery, jumped and found blower stayed on with fan turn off. Possible cause of battery dead? Removed fuse 4 now running without blower. 2) Heater gage reaches close to 3/4 level - I read other peoples comments and know it is because of AC on but want to have system checked. 3) Clips (yellow ones) came off on door guard at top. How to replace? 4) Poor gas mileage - replace PCV, OS2? Thanks again for reply... |
