Car Problem with 2000 Mist. Eclipse GT

The other night I was coming home. A car pulled in frony of me so I steered a hard left to avoid an accident. Now when I take a left hand turn I hear and feel a slight bump bump bump bump noise. I have been driving it around alot and it doesn't do it all the time, usually when I make more of a defined left turn than just a left hand turn. (if that makes any sense) Anyways if anyone knows what I am talking about PLEASE REPLY. THANKS!!!

Sounds like a tire rubbing. Does your car pull hard left or right? An allignment will help if this is the problem.

Thanks for your reply!!! If you don't mind me asking was is tire rubbing. I just had my tire balanced and rotated, could a dramatic maneuver throw them off. And to answer your question it does not pull hard to the left or right.

check your axle and tie rod, if either of those goes bad you will hear funny noises.

might as well check your control arm...if the ball joint starts to crap out the whole wheel will start to shimmy back and forth slightly and could make noise (also feel bad under braking).
