I'm surprised no one covered this yet. Well I've finally got SPEED channel so I can stay up to date.

Where's Massa? Felipe Massa had odd technical problems and I don't really know the whole story (I bet ITV did) but he was relegated out of Q3 and stayed...at 14th, a Ferrari, which is just slightly worse then the opening race of the season but he was still higher then 14th. Where has Ferrari's reliability gone? Performance over reliability most likely...and by the way I'm all for that.

If you don't know this already, Scott Speed was fired from the STR team, although as I heard on the tv, he still tests their cars, smart move?? Remember Sebastian Vettel, the 20 year old(edited) who took over for Kubica at Indy? Well he took over for Speed (temporarily? I dunno, I think Liuzzi deserves the boot too, he crashes on a caution at Canada, what a DOUCHE...can I say that word on AF?). Anyway, Vettel, new to the STR cars, and Mark Webber were under investigation for blocking Heikki Kovalainen, but at 10th place Webber appears to be doing fine.

The Mclaren Team!!! This one is funny, after Alonso had second place in Q3, and Hamilton had 1st, the team told Alonso to WAIT in the pits, holding up Hamilton, which in turn cost him his hotlap and Alonso took pole at the same time. Then Ron Dennis walks over to the pit manager and rips his earphones off, this team was fighting over 1ST and 2ND PLACE!!!!! Well they have good reason to because the Hungaroring proves to be hard to pass at, and get ready F1 Fans, because the weather looks dry, See you at the finish!!

I just cannot understand why the stewards penalised McLaren in the way they did after qualifying. The 5 position grid penalty for Alonso kind of makes sense in the light of Schumacher's penalty at Monaco last year, undeserved but some consistency from the FIA. But why deprive the team of constructors points, what has that got to do with two drivers ingoring team orders and impeding each other? I had intended to watch the race, even though the Hungaroring is a bore, but after hearing of that decision I wasn't bothered to give any sponsors of such a circus the benefit of my attention.

Yeah I didn't see that 'pushing back Alonso to 6th place' thing coming. But you missed out!

I have to say, I hate the politics in FIA but I'll be damned if it doesn't make the races more interesting. Hamilton did it again, only this time, was being chased down the entire race by Kimi Raikkonen. That's because when Alonso dropped, Kimi rose. That has got to be the most exciting duel I've seen all year, maybe it's because this racetrack was so much more tight than other tracks. It had short straights and some very slow turns. SPEED commented on the Hungaroring as being Monaco without the city.

Heidfeld picked up his first podium of the season, congrats to him for holding off none other then 2-Time Champ Fernando Alonso. Here's the full finishing grid:

Sorry its taken so long for me to comment on this one. Its been a busy couple of weeks.

Damned FIA!!! They want Hamilton to win!

So far both major decisions this year (Stepneygate and Alonsomacher) have benefitted Hamilton. The stewards handed Hamilton pole position at a track where passing is nearly impossible, thus giving him the win. Kimi was obviously faster and had it been a better track that allowed for passing, Kimi would have won, no question in my mind. Hamilton is starting to drive me nuts, I'm actually starting to root for Alonso just because its looking like he's the last guy that can beat Hamilton, who really hasn't shown much speed this season, hes just been incredibly lucky. Hopefully the next few races will involve more passing then Hungary.

I used to like Hamilton, especially since he's my age. Now I think I hate him, or atleast...hate Mclaren for taking him on, so what if he's winning? He's getting the wins handed to him on a silver platter and even if he wins, that's not racing. Every team should be given an equal opportunity to win. I'm kinda starting to dislike Formula 1 in general, yet there seems to be more racing and less BS in American open wheel series like ChampCar and IndyCar.

To me, F1 is starting to lose it's appealing edge. I almost feel sorry for Bourdais going to STR...of all teams, but it's his big chance to go international and he wants it, so I'm agreeing with his decision, It's a dream to be an F1 driver after all, but STR and their management sucks.

Eh Alonso is a whiny little bitch who only says good things when hes winning and blames everyone else when hes not, so I cant say I feel bad for him. However I would like to see Hamilton challenged a little more. Only time will tell how good Hamilton really is. However part of that needs to come from the FIA. F1 NEEDS tracks that are more conducive with passing. The more passing there is the more people would watch... well thats what I think at least.
