won't shift out of first

tranny won't shift out of first when engine warm. also, speedo jumping around. no vehicle service lights on. seemed to detect some jerking of tranny when rolling and tranny in neutral. reverse seems fine. would appreciate any help.

Welcome to AF.

Transmissions are hard to diagnose with out scanning them.
Trans dtc's wont illuminate the service lights.

It will take a scanner that can read trans codes.

I'd check the fluid level, but you'll need it on a lift to check.

But it could be a speed sensor, and could be internal damage.

You'll probly want to tow it somewhere rather then driving it,
as driving in 1st will damage it for sure and probley damage the motor too.
