Please tell me where the factory amp is located in my 2000 Concord.
I am installing a new cd player in my 2000 concord and the wires for the speakers are not passing audio which tells me there must be a factory amp somewhere. Can someone please tell me where it is located so that I can connect the speaker wires together and bypass the amp. The reason I am installing a new cd player is that the factory one makes a terrible noise when it is on and no audio can be heard other than the static noise.

I found the amp which bypassing it was not to bad; it is a lot easier than most cars. FYI the amp is located in the front passenger side behind the glove box on the far right side which you could almost get to by removing the little quarter panel near the foot rest; removing the glove box is the best way however.

Ahh please help! ok it appears to me that theres 18 wires on one side of the amp and 8 wires on the other side. can you please give me a walk-through of how I can bypass my amp? Mine is completely shot and i get no sound whatsoever even after installing a new aftermarket radio.
can you help me? thanks!! |
